Kerri Blount
KINDERGARTEN
Kerri Blount graduated from Louisiana State University in 2007 with a degree in Early Childhood Education. She has over 15 years experience teaching young children in public, private, and classical schools. She is passionate about creating environments that encourage young children to learn, as well as planting seeds of the Gospel in their hearts and minds.In her free time, she enjoys tending her plants and garden, hiking, crafting, traveling, and adventuring with her family. She has been married to Todd since 2006. They have one daughter, Tristin, and two sons, Jude and Asa. They are active in their local church where Todd serves as a pastor.
Ashlee Beeman
KINDERGARTEN
Ashlee Beeman graduated from Texas Tech University in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education. After graduation, she was blessed to return home to Katy where she got a job teaching kindergarten. Mrs. Beeman and her husband, Derek, live in Fulshear with their two children, Clara and Craig. She especially loves having Craig at BCA with her! Mrs. Beeman loves volunteering at her church, Second Baptist 1463, where she has taught second grade Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, and is currently serving on the leadership team in her Adult Bible Study class.

Tanya Sherrell
KINDERGARTEN
Tanya Sherrell graduated from Campbellsville University in Kentucky in 2002 with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing Management and minor in Communications. She has two wonderful children, a son, Carson and a daughter, Addison. She was a stay-at-home mom for many years. She moved to Katy in 2011 shortly after the birth of her daughter and it wasn’t until she started preschool that the Lord called her to teach. She has been teaching preschool since 2016 and finds it rewarding to be trusted by God to disciple to children. She is a member of Church of the King and has been teaching the 4–5-year-olds on Sundays since 2018, and loves her small group. When not teaching you can find her on the soccer field with her daughter or at the racetrack with her son. She loves to craft and loves her two sweet dogs.
Melody Eickmann
GARDEN SCHOOL AFTERCARE
Melody Eickmann graduated from Holy Family College , Philadelphia PA, in 1998, with a Bachelors Elementary Education.
She lives in Katy , TX with her husband Jason and their 3 children ( 2 college age and 1 in high school). She enjoys serving with her family at their church, outdoor activities , and working with children.
BCA has been such a blessing in my life because I get to share the love of God with children and work with a wonderful staff.
Sabrina Wu
GARDEN SCHOOL AIDE
Sabrina Wu grew up in Taiwan and realized she had a love for teaching when she was in college. In 1999, she came to the US to get her MBA from the University of Dallas. There she met her husband, Tuck. They have two sweet kids, Ianna and Ethan. In 2013, they moved back to Malaysia where Sabrina had a chance to teach special needs children at a Christian school. During this time, she learned about the different abilities God has given children and with patience how to help each child grow according to their greatest abilities.
Claiming God's Word, "Be strong and courageous, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go" Sabrina's family moved back to Houston in 2018. In 2020 God brought Sabrina to BCA.
"Berean is a blessing in my life because I am working with a team that is passionate for God." God continues to guide her where she can help and who she can pray for in our schools.
Tienna Loo
GARDEN SCHOOL AIDE
Tienna Loo grew up in Malaysia, a multicultural country speaking 3 languages and 3 Chinese dialects. I came to the US in 1996 to pursue my Bachelor Degree in Business Administration at the University of Oregon. Over the years I have gathered most of my working experience in the international business and airlines service industry. I met my husband, Robbin during my flying years with Singapore Airlines. We lived in Austin for 8 years and moved to Katy in 2009. We have 2 sons, Tristan and Landon. I am active at my church and served in the worship team and FriendSpeak, an international and Chinese Ministry.
Praise God for His calling for me to serve Him through BCA. I know that I will continue to grow in Christ through BCA with the children and loving staff members.
